Florida law (Board of Governors Regulation 8.006) requires every degree-seeking student at a Florida College System or state university — who enrolled in 2018-19 or later — to pass the Civic Literacy Exam. No major is exempt.
A course alone isn't enough.
You need a qualifying civics course with a C or better and a passing exam score — one without the other doesn't satisfy the requirement. It sits between you and your diploma until it's done.
80 questions. 60% to pass.
Four areas, 20 questions each: American Democracy, the Constitution, Founding Documents, Landmark Court Cases. This app drills each one with an explanation after every answer, so you walk in ready.
